Reuse center is closed until further notice due to camp fire

Reducing waste

The Reuse Center features a variety of HHW products that can be taken free of charge (i.e. cleaning supplies, paint, car wax, fertilizers, pesticides etc.). All materials are in new or high quality condition. The goal is to support sustainability by reusing all our available resources instead of throwing them away.

The Reuse Center is located in the NRWS Recycling Yard adjacent to the HHW facility, it is open to all customers, you can take up to 14 items at a time. The Reuse Center is open once a month, see your calendar for days of operation, hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or as long as supplies last.

How it works: Once you have found items you would like to take you just need to sign a waiver and record what items you are taking. There is an attendant on-site to assist you with any questions you may have. Also please make sure to look at the schedule to make sure you are coming on the right day (as indicated by "RC" on your calendar) and not on an HHW day.

BYOB...Bring Your Own Bag / Box- Remember to bring your own bag while shopping at the Reuse Center and/or a box to help carry your material to your car.
